I spent most of my life searching for “my thing.” At 18, I joined the Navy to escape my small town and see the world, becoming a photographer for the world’s finest Navy. But it didn’t take long for this self-proclaimed fashionista to realize that wearing the same outfit every day wasn’t exactly my “my thing”.
For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of trying stand-up comedy. So, after my marriage ended, I decided—why not now? I went to comedy school, landed a paying gig (a whole $25 and one Bud Light!), and learned a valuable lesson about knowing your audience. Spoiler: Jokes about $1,300 shoes don’t exactly kill at the Portsmouth Moose Lodge. I didn’t cry… okay, maybe a little, but only on the drive home. Turns out, stand-up wasn’t “my thing “either.
But somewhere along the way—through all the experimenting, learning, and figuring out my own path—I cracked the code on overcoming anxiety and manifesting an abundant life. That’s when everything changed. This became my passion, my purpose work. What started as a website grew into books, a podcast, and a movement. How Good It Can Get was born and before long, took on a life of its own, and I finally found my thing—helping others fast-track their journey to peace, purpose, and abundance.
With a degree in Psychology, the insights of an author, and the healing power of a Reiki Master, I blend science, conscious creation, and spirituality into a powerful formula for transformation. I believe that while everyone’s path is unique, the tools to live an anxiety-free, abundant life are universal.
